First day in WeHo

West Hollywood, CA:

Yesterday was a long, but amazing day. We got up around 10.30am, got showered, dressed and packed our stuff to take off to the next hotel in West Hollywood. We left around noon and after getting a bit lost in Marina Del Rey, we got on the highway and drove up until Santa Monica Blvd and took a turn. We arrived at the Ramada Plaza, parked our car, checked in (very nice front desk girl!) and went up to our room. The room is huge and has a kingsize bed - never a bad thing! After settling a bit, we left to get some breakfast down the street at IHOP. It was a lot of food, but incredibly good!! Also went to CVS (drugstore) around the corner for some stuff.

We then went back, got the car and started driving around a little. Enjoyed some views and streets. Stopped at CVS for water and at Payless Shoe Source for flipflops. Then we headed to Beverly Center for some shopping. Noelle got a ton of make up, accessories and cosmetics (what a surprise), and Jan got sunglasses & a t-shirt at American Eagle. We also got some Starbucks. Bummed that the rooftop terrace was closed, but we’ll definitely go back for that.

Around 7pm we were back at the hotel. Rested our feet a bit and then walked to Subway for some diner. We then walked down the street a bit to where the clubs are, then walked back. Fell asleep quickly, to wake up today at 9am. Today’s schedule is: breakfast at Subway, then to Griffith Observatory, then Glendale Galleria Mall for some more shopping, and then off to Staples Center for the Lakers game!! Totally excited! We’ll update tonight or in the morning.
